Description

Lady Yan was the first wife of the warlord Lü Bu during the late Han Dynasty period of Chinese history. She bore him a daughter, popularly known as Lü Lingqi, who was to marry Yuan Yao, son of the royal pretender Yuan Shu. She supported Lü Bu's decision for the marriage because she felt that Yuan Shu would become the emperor. She was sent to Luoyang after Lü Bu was executed following his defeat at the Battle of Xiapi. Warns Lü Bu about attacking Cao Cao and points out problems in Chen Gong’s plan.
